Abortion is inconsistent with foetal legal rights
USA law recognizes some foetal rights, e.g. considering a child's mother culpable for taking drugs during pregnancy that will discolur the child's teeth. It is inconsistent to recognise a foetal right to health, but not recognise a foetal right to life.
