A weak case causes debate for open space rezone in Orange Park Acres where former golf course was new 1 acre lots should be.

Orange Park Acres is a community of about 3,200 residents on the east end of Orange. The area until recently was home to a nine-hole Ridgeline Golf Course, which became economically unable to run. JMI Real Estate bought the land during a public sale in 2006, made plans to develop the property into 39, one-acre estates.
