In 2006, Hamas won Palestinian elections democratically. Fatah not only lost these elections but a majority of West Bankers chose to elect Hamas over Fatah. Accusations of corruption was one of the primary arguments for the Hamas electoral victory. Is Fatah a viable partner in peace negotiations?
