Framing (a problem or issue)
The context including preconceptions from which we think about a problem or issue and draw conclusions.
Framing has been popularly used to denote changing a conversation in order to “re-frame” an issue -- look at it from another viewpoint, a method well known to ad writers and PR executives. “Framing” is associated with the work of George Lakoff.
