Until 2011, Fermilab was the home of the 6.28 km (3.90 mi) circumference Tevatron accelerator, where the top quark was discovered in 1995. Fermilab aims to become a world center in neutrino physics, with the DUNE experiment (in construction). Among the ongoing experiments, NOvA is active in IPPOG. |
