| Excerpt / Summary The Implementing Dialogic Practices in the U.S. forum, sponsored by the Collaborative Networks Approach (CNA) project of the Vermont Cooperative for Practice Improvement and Innovation (VCPI), will provide an opportunity to hear from the small group of US- based pilot applications of open dialogue informed practices in publicly funded community mental health systems. Advocates, Inc. from Framingham Mass., Project Parachute in NYC, Howard Center, United Counseling Service, and Counseling Service of Addison County, all from Vermont, will report on their experiences developing and implementing these practices in their respective settings as well as some of their initial observations of outcomes, challenges, and possibilities of these highly promising practices. The forum will also feature special guest Mary Olson, Ph.D., co-founder of The Institute for Dialogic Practice, in collaboration with Jaakko Seikkula, Ph.D. and the original Open Dialogue team at Keropudas Hospital in Tornio, Finland.
