Cloud computing as a technology should have been nothing more than a different way of delivering technology after the delivery of video in telecommunications innovation beginning in 1993. Why? We spent a great amount of time working out the do's and don't(s) related to people and individual rights and expectations. Unfortunately, ignoring these vital requirements has come to life in disturbing and harmful ways in the delivery of cloud and standards developed are the means to allow technology a way to be used in harmful ways. Perhaps the intention for this result may not have been planned, it simply was the outcome.
A per cloud is an opportunity to right many wrongs if done by way of the iCAAN registration process. Rather than doing what we did expecting a different results; we can return the private or intellectual property rights to an individual and ideally return parental consent. Frankly, no organization or agency that exist (today) can be trusted to deliver privacy and security in the manner which natural persons can expect.
A domain name registrant is an individual or entity who registers a domain name. Upon registration of a domain name, a registrant enters into a contract with a registrar. The contract describes the terms under which the registrar agrees to register and maintain the requested name. After registration, registrants manage their domain name settings through their registrar.
An individual should have the control over their personal cloud. Today, individuals are expected to protect their domain registration and most individuals are not the controller nor are we informed or consulted about who our registrar is. We should have an ability to know the registrar and an ability to change to another registrar should be covered by our rights soveriegnity and self determination.
How can we transform to a privacy by design model in a true sense?
A parallel solution iniative should be funded as part of the universal income proposal and the governance would be part of the capacity planning and sustainable development delivery. Ideally, the hardest to reach populations could model the proposal as it would be safer (least harm). Yes, it might be harder to deliver and that makes the opportunity more attractive. Why? The types of resources we need to deliver such a concept must be individuals who thrive in impossible situations and people who can look beyond the current situations to see the potential to avoid threats faced by these populations.
Technology can deliver the proposal(M Fioretti) per cloud in a privacy by design model and the use of resources will develop people to monitor and maintain the systems as new financial opportunities for persons who in a natural sense protect the environment as guardians of their part of the world and this proposal intends to enhance the potential ongoing economic benefits to those hardest to reach.
