Hineahuone: the first female human

Hineahuone was created directly from the elements of earth and sky. She is the human from whom all others were created. Originally all of the humans to walk the earth were females. Tiki, the first male was created from Hineahuone.

Hineahuone is her name in her enlightened form. Prior to her enlightenment she was know as Hinenauro.

Hinenauro is inside of all of us, she is within our fluids, she is there to help us, to enlighten us. Hinenauro represents our psyche.  

Hinenauro went into the underworld to become enlightened. She greets everyone when they die and takes them to te aomarama.
