The brain distributes learning task to 3 basic networks: the recognition network detects patterns, while the strategic network evaluates patterns, develops plans, and carries out actions. Finally the affective network processes emotions (Laureate Education, 2009). The brain is so amazing that it can simultaneously process information across networks and also hierarchically within networks (Rose and Meyer, 2002).
