Oil and Gas-current drilling stations on the ocean creating waste in marine life's natural habitats.

Very large structures which drilled into the ocean floor for oil until recent surface processing reduced the cost to produce a major source of revenue.  

Example: Agriculture

Opportunity to grow nutritious food for resilience and disaster recovery.

Example: Tourism

Opportunity to create vacation get a ways.

Some rural persons are oppositional or feel the cause of much of the communities disparities are caused by the tourism or tourist.

Turning the communities into a tourist spot, isn't the communities first choice. 

Each of the above examples are threats to Biodiversity or the failure to re-use what was in use to allow less loss of natural resources or govern the commons.
