Excerpt / Summary
In today’s article, I shall discuss the need to revamp the “farm-to-market” process in the agriculture sector that has always given farmers the short end of the stick; that is responsible for their products not getting exposed to a larger population in which they can set competitive prices. The approach I discuss in this article facilitates the “farm-to-market” aspect of agriculture and provides a plethora of benefits to the farmer in rural areas despite the high rate of illiteracy found in those parts of the country.
