Practitioner's will need to learn about the doctrine of no-self and how this relates to coping with CFS.
Practitioner's will also need to learn about the concept of the self and how it can be used positively (eg. the ontologically fragile enactive self and how it is constructed).
Practitioner's will need to demonstrate their ability to work with these concepts practically with respect to their own sense of self and that of their clients. This can be taught in group work and through reflective journalling.
From PhD Abstract:
Transformations of the self surrounding being-able-to-do and not-being-able-to-do were shown to elucidate the illness process.
