Excerpt / Summary
A post human civilization is one "whose basic capacities so radically exceed those of present humans as to be no longer unambiguously human by our current standards." For the purposes of this question computing power is the main determinant of the level of advancement; A post-human civilization would have enough computing power to run a huge number of ancestor-simulations even while using only a tiny fraction of their resources for that purpose. A post-human civilization is one whose systems are capable of independent evolutionary momentum. This source reinforces notions of inevitability, progress, and technological momentum—all necessary to add validity to the simulation hypothesis
