3D Game Lab offers LMS like courses like offers missions/quests with badges and experience points (3D Game Lab designs their own badges).  Instructor/Facilitator would design the content of each quest, and release each quest based on time conditions.  Students must complete quests in a sequential order based on facilitator's design.  Each quest module allows iframe embed (such as Youtube, mindmaps, images, etc.) along with mission instructions.

Problem with 3D Game Lab - No discussion forum exists to allow for collaboration/conversations.  This type of LMS still resembles an instructor-centric course with structured content (much like a regular online course).  Also, 3D Game Lab does not allow the instructor to create his/her own badge design.  I am still deciding on whether or not to implement 3D Game Lab as part of my own MOOC.
