As co-chair, Cameron has focused on xyz. He hosted the first of three meetings of the panel, on Household Poverty. In
his speech after the event, Cameron said the principal aim of the panel was to focus on ending extreme poverty. He talked of a 'golden thread' of development, which includes "absence of conflict and corruption, the presence of the rule of law, property rights, strong institutions". He said that the panel was aware it needed to listen to the voices of the poorest in developing its report.
