Basically, the former Sheriff was offeringing himself for some crank.
This arrest surprised everyone. This surprised everyone because Mr. Sullivan was a servant of the county to protect and serve to his core and to uphold the integrity of the laws he enforced. However, Mr. Sullivan abused his powers and decided to succumb to his selfish desires. Luckily, he did not hurt another person.
What is ironic about this case is, Mr. Sullivan spear headed a movement to rid the youth in his county of drugs. While waiting for his case to be heard, Patrick Sullivan, Jr. is being incarcerated in the Patrick Sullivan, Jr. Detention Center. A jail located outside of Denver which was named after the former sheriff.
