Promoting safe online behaviour by individuals needs to be part of a larger programme to improve 'Use of Information' or Information Literacy. The traditional core skills of reading, writing and arithmetic need to integrate Information Literacy throughout childhood learning. Adults need Information Literacy as much as they do Health and Safety, other mandatory training modules, or learning how to drive a car. |
