The argument presents various issues that question its accuracy. The first is the person making the argument which is Republican Represenative Darrell Issa. In further research, the Republican Party , especially in Congress, is completely against “Obamacare”. Only one Republican representative voted in favor of HR 3962 (which was the bill that passed the Affordable Healthcare Act). Rep. Issa is obviously biased in his analysis of the health care initiative and leaves out many of the benefits of a health care subsidy and improved coverage for uninsured patients. Studies have proved that a nationized healthcare plan will keep more jobs in the United States.
Rep. Issa is also hypocritical about cutting debt when it is shown that Rep. Issa voted in favor of debt ceiling increases when his party was in power in the House. If Issa was serious about cutting spending, he would not have started being concerned right now but should have been concerned before hand as well.
