Workforce Skill Gap
Most major corporations recruit and hire with the following sources
1. Employee referral - infers the new hires will most often represent the characteristics of the referring employee. Male workers are most likely to refer a friend or classmate.
2. Contract Recruiters do the heavy lifting based on hiring manager engagement

A Shark proposal and deep dive into the existing technology, future opportunities and end of life options which would justify the vendors proposal as fit for the current technology landscape.

Tiger Team was representative of six persons recruited by the Transformation and Strategy team led by the Optimization arm of HR.  The company was a major innovation engine responsible for the internet in its infancy. 

An executive from the Sales organization had been convinced by a software vendor that their solution would solve all the problems the organization was facing. 

Customer Quality Data was very low

The sales organization had just transitioned from countless custom transaction data applications (EDW batch processing-legacy applications) into a poor implementation of Salesforce.com (a cloud hybrid solution). 

results for a project proposing to purchase a tool (software) that could integrate with Salesforce.com and various human resource practices associated with supply chain contractors, social media models like LinkedIn and diverse transactional data applications sourcing from an EDW and the system of record (fit for purpose) Application Tracking System. 

Employee age or experience relative to new hires in major corporations often recruits entry level workers with nothing more than a bachelor degree. 

 

Applicant Tracking Systems are primarily going to exclude an applicant and these are the systems used to clear equal opportunity or human rights measures in regard to diversity.  
An applicant is only an applicant if they are qualified for the position they are applying.
