Debategraph's ability to repel spam / vandalism?
Suggestions for other potential measures that could be taken?
Maps are now being embedded not just on private blogs or media websites such as CNN or the Independent, but also on "official" websites such as fco.gov.uk

What will happen when some spammer injects unwanted material into the map, or just vandalizes parts of it?

The stream view and immediate email alerts are excellent steps towards ensuring that such "attacks" will be detected quickly and blocked.

Are these sufficient or can spam protection be improved?

I'm thinking in particular of improving collaboration with already existing spam-figthing mechanisms on sites such as the FCO's.
