Type 1 PsychosisâType 1 Psychosis is a transient state characterized by atypical thinking, feeling and behavior, related to âdevelopmental adjustments or to experiencing of existential threats or crisisâ at different stages of ones life with multifaceted origins, including adverse personal experiences, and unique atypical adaptations to experience of uncertainty that any trauma experience induces. For children and adolescents biological and social changes and expectations may compound this. â59C6EF

Type 2 Psychosis
Type 2 PsychosisâType 2 psychosis is characterized by persistent presentations of atypicalâ thinking, behavior, and mood symptoms that are associated with compromised functioning levels involving impaired personal independence and social communication across specified domains, and are associated with at risk behaviors, often defined by the prevalent cultural and social norms. Type 2 Psychosis may persist over many years in some people with or without any consistent psychiatric interventions.â59C6EF
