Collaborate [1] is ‘an independent CIC [community interest company] focusing on the thinking, culture and practice of cross-sector collaboration in services to the public’. It was established in 2012, with funders including the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Cabinet Office, Serco and London South Bank University [2]. In 2016, it launched the final report of the Commission on Place-Based Health, Get Well Soon: Re-imagining Place-based Health, addressing how the NHS, local government and local partners can collaborate more effectively to improve local health outcomes [3].
