Nesta [1] is a UK-based innovation charity that supports ideas that address socio-economic challenges and help improve peopleâs lives. The charity achieves this through promoting and investing in innovative ideas, influencing larger systems such as governments, delivering programmes, and conducting research both in the UK and internationally [2]. Nesta and the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) are currently working with the Cabinet Office to help three local areas (Bromley by Bow Centre, Horsham and Mid Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group, Spice in Lancashire) to explore ways of mobilising people and communities to improve health and wellbeing. Nesta aims to scope out local needs and assets, help assemble a local coalition, identify innovative approaches, create a plan to build and embed social movements locally, develop a unique Behavioural insights framework and ensure sustainability [3]. |
