Brains are automata, thus persons are too
Because neurons have computable transfer functions, they are a kind of automata. And because brains are collections of neurons, they must be automata as well. Our brains are what makes us what we are, so persons are automata.
David Cole, 1992. As articulated by Selmer Bringsjord, 1992.
