Our initiative is making broadband policy universal in all coast from Region 1 ITU too. Is a good oportunity to the way to global harmonisation of 700-800-900 MHz bands.

On 2009 it was published the Mobile Maritime Hub initiative in Vilanova i La Geltrú (Catalonia - Spain), see the document.

This initiative is a Strategic Plan for the creation of a Mobile Maritime Hub in order to promote economic activity and local social cohesion in a coastal and maritime economy in a sustainable economy to achieve a common good.

Throughout the month of August, 2014 the boats had mobile coverage.

The deadline extended test until the month of October, 2014.

From Tarragona to Sant Carles de la Ràpita, with a range of 22 nautical miles.

Communications Maritime Hub promotes this test pilot, the first  patented infrastructure worildwide with broadband mobile and coverage at the sea, see this event on Digital Agenda Futurium.
