Auszug -
The government should promote all aspects of health & prevent disease ie exercise...cycling/walking, healthy diet...discourage junk food (not easy!), less alcohol, smoking & drug use...cigarette smoking is an addiction to a powerful drug - Nicotine, but the government & tobacco companies make billions of pounds out of it - ÂŁ11.5 billion in the UK every year! Transport - why do we drive cars when we know they produce poisonous pollutants - invisible these days but still there...why do we have such high levels of cancer people ask? Mental health - why as a nation do so many people work so hard & for so many hours at the expense of their health & their families well being - why do we prescribe so many anti-depressants/ tranquillisers/sleeping pills/have such a high divorce rate. The government must remember that prevention is better then cure & cheaper!
