Policy options
Exploring the potential policy options for gun control.
In 2004, the Committee to Improve Research Information and Data on Firearms posed a number of policy questions which are still valid today:

"Should regulations restrict who may possess and carry a firearm? Should regulations differ for different types of firearms? Should purchases be delayed and, if so, for how long and under what circumstances? Should restrictions be placed on the number or types of firearms that can be purchased? Should safety locks be required?"[1]

These and other questions are examined here.
