For the average woman that height, a healthy weight is between 142-150.
As a model, their average weight is 120-124 pounds.

20 years ago, models weighed 8% less than average woman. Today it's 23% less. It has never been greater than what it is now.

Average size for a woman today is a size 8. Well, in the fashion industry, a plus size model is size 6-14, therefore meaning that the average woman today is considered plus size according to their standards.

Models aren't an accurate depiction of the average woman or even a healthy woman.

Drastically affects young girls who are growing because they feel pressure to meet a stereotype and feel that they won't be beautiful if they don't look like a model.
This can lead to eating disorders, depression and other unhealthy habits.
Diminishes their self-image and self-worth.

Fashion industry isn't a direct cause of eating disorders but is proven to most definitely be a trigger.
