A PrettyLinkUrl, also called a UserFriendlyLinkUrl has the following advantages over an UglyLinkUrl, also called a UserUnfriendlyLinkUrl:
- easier to memorize
- easier to refer to from external websites
- easier to find in search-engines
- easier to connect with other PrettyLinkUrl s
- easier to set up by the user
- easier to spot by the user
- easier to build connected collaboration (internal+external, especially IncidentalCollaboration)
- ...
It is a precondition to generate the document.title in the DOM of debategraph pages
