Nov 1988: PLO agrees to support two-state solution
In November 1988 the PLO, renounced terrorism and voted to support a two-state solution based on the 1947 UN partition resolution (181) and Israeli withdrawl from the territory captured in the 1967 war in line with UN Resolution 242.
