Very big maps are hard to visualize in the complete view

The maximum size a complete macro view shouldn't be decided only by how much Flash can handle. Another limitation is how much information a viewer can be given in one shot. Doesn't the (very impressive) complete macro view of the Future of Newspapers map (#21130) look a bit too big?
