Trust in governement has been deeply corroded both in US and UK (Iraq)

Trust in government was deeply corroded in both the United States and in Britain by the controversies/lies surrounding the Iraq war and the failure to find any weapons of mass destruction. If people trusted their governments, the need for a leaking system wouldn't be as strong as it is now.
