Saudi king: "Cut off the head of the snake"

In 2005, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia crticized the war on Iraq, saying that "U.S. policy had now given Iraq to Iran as a gift on a golden platter". He repeatedly implored Washington to “cut off the head of the snake” while there was still time.
