Fermilab - USA

Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) is located in Batavia, Illinois, near Chicago. Until 2011, Fermilab was the home of the 6.28 km (3.90 mi) circumference Tevatron accelerator, where the top quark was discovered in 1995. Fermilab aims to become a world center in neutrino physics, with the DUNE experiment (in construction). Among the ongoing experiments, NOvA is active in IPPOG.
