Muon Tomography

An imagery technique used to reconstruct the characteristics of an object in 3 dimensions by accumulating uni- or bidimensional information on the penetration of radiation or particle beam. X-rays are commonly used in medicine, as well as positrons. Muons from cosmic rays are also used for bigger objects such as pyramids or volcanoes.
