Electron

A massive, stable fundamental particle whose electric charge is opposite to the proton's. It is one of the three constituent of ordinary mater, along with the up and down quarks grouped into protons and neutrons. Electrons play an essential role in numerous physical phenomena, such as electricity, magnetism, chemistry, and thermal conductivity; Electrons radiate or absorb energy in the form of photons when they are accelerated.
