Eric Wasylenko
Eric Wasylenko is a clinical ethicist and a retired palliative care physician. He has held senior leadership and advisory roles for a number of health care organizations and government agencies. He has helped lead the creation of a number of novel clinical processes and health facilities.
- Eric has recently completed an extended term as Chair of the Public Health Ethics Consultative Group of the Public Health Agency of Canada. He currently is a member of the Alberta Advisory Committee on Immunizations for Alberta Health. He has experience in complex priority setting activities, provincial and national issues where ethics and policy intersect and in helping address ethics considerations in pandemic outbreaks.
- Eric has an extensive resume of speaking engagements for local, national and international audiences. He has current Clinical Faculty appointments as Clinical Associate Professor Division of Palliative Medicine, Department of Oncology, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, and as Associate Clinical Professor, John Dossetor Health Ethics Centre, University of Alberta.
