Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM)
Founded in 1968, the Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM) is dedicated to excellence in research and training in pure and applied mathematics, and in statistics, with all their ramifications to different domains of human endeavour, including physics, health sciences, and computer science.
- Among the most important and longstanding mathematics research institutes in the world, the CRM collaborates with other institutions and organizations, notably the CNRS which is present at the CRM through an IRL (International Research Laboratory).
- The CRM is supported by its six institutional partners (Université de Montréal, Concordia University, Université Laval, McGill University, Université du Québec à Montréal, and Université de Sherbrooke) and receives major funding from NSERC, the FRQ, the Simons Foundation, and the Ministère des Finances du Québec.
