ATENA☜原子力エネルギー協議会（ATENA: Atomic Energy Association）（2018年設立）ATENAは、原子力産業界全体が抱える課題について、国内外の最新の知見などを集めて解決策を検討するとともに、規制当局などとの対話を通じて、現場に取りこんでいくことを目指した組織です。ATENAには、原子力事業者だけでなく、メーカーなど幅広い関係者が参加しており、原子力産業界全体で議論する体制がとられています。ATENAでは、原子力産業界全体が抱える課題について、それぞれ「テーマ」として整理し、担当者が集まって技術的な検討がおこなわれています。現在、14のテーマについて検討が進められており、そのひとつとしては、原子力発電所のサイバーセキュリティ対策が挙げられます。今後、原子力規制委員会との対話を通じて、具体化に向けた検討を重ねていく予定です。さらに、検討の成果は、積極的に情報発信し、幅広い関係者とのコミュニケーションもおこなっていく予定です。☜D3B8AB

NRRC☜原子力リスク研究センター（NRRC:Nuclear Risk Research Center）（2014年設立）NRRCの取り組みのひとつとしては、確率論的リスク評価（PRA）と呼ばれる、先進的なリスク評価手法の研究開発が挙げられます。PRAは、あらゆる事故を想定し、その事故が起きる確率や影響度合いについて、統計などを使って計算する手法です。PRAを利用することで、さまざまな事故について設備の「弱み」「強み」がわかるようになるため、弱い部分に対策をおこなうことで、効果的に安全性を高めることが可能となります。NRRCでは、地震や津波などが、原子力発電所の建物に与える影響などのシミュレーション手法の開発などをおこなっています。☜D3B8AB
