Project Two Degrees
Microsoft is in a long-term partnership with the Clinton Climate Initiative called Project 2 Degrees, to develop a suite of technology tools that will enable cities to accuratly monitor, compare, and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
As a one-stop-shop for local climate efforts, the Emissions Tracker software allows cities to uniformly measure their greenhouse gas emissions, establish a baseline on emissions, manage inventories, create action plans, track the effectiveness od their emissions reduction programs, and share experiences with each other.
