We know enough to take rational action to avoid catastrophic AGW.
Even if AGW theory were to be proved wrong, we still need to decarbonise the global economy in order to improve energy security and in order to mitigate the severity of Peak Oil. Decarbonisation also provides a realistic economic stimulus to remedy recession.
