Add "Insert image from its URL" to the Detailed Text Editor

I have the URL of an image I want to include in the "detailed text" of a node. I click on the Image Manager button; paste my URL in the Image URL box. Then I click on the "Insert" button, and this brings an error message saying "Please, choose an image to be inserted!"

How it works now

The Detailed text image manager is set up to display uploaded images only. However, once an uploaded image has been inserted, you can attach an external URL via the Image Properties dialog box (accessed by right clicking on the image).

Uploading an image

1. Test of image insertion
1.1. upload image from my hard disk into the image manager. All my images get stored in /Resources/u2553/ . I can create folders in that directory.
1.2. click on the "insert" button to insert it in the detailed text of the current node

2. Test of image insertion (from the web)
2.1. Save image from web to my disk and then upload it (as in 1) to the detailed text of the current node

2.2a. Right-click on the image, select "set image properties" and add the image URL

2.2b. An alternative, once the the image has been inserted, is to select the image and use the Hyperlink manager (in Firefox and IE) to associate an external link with the image. The advantage of this method is that the left clicking on the image will take you to original image source.

What's the point of adding the image URL?

Once the image URL has been set, when a user right clicks on the image and copies the image address, s/he will get the original image URL on the web and not the URL on the Debategraph server.

Possible improvement

Ideally, the detailed text editor could allow the insertion of an image from its URL, without having to store this image on my hard disk, nor on the Debategraph server.
