James Otieno

James, retired high school teacher, was the Senior Principal of Joel Omino Secondary School, the Pioneer ESD ( Education for Sustainable Development) in the Republic of Kenya.
In 2010 James undertook training in Israel under the sponsorship of MASHAV and embarked on the path of implementing the principles of ESD in the school and other institutions. He is a National Master Trainer of ESD in Kenya and initiator of TOP Shamba. James is the coordinator of TOP Kenya that trained young graduates who are already making an impact in job creations, women who are transforming their societies by tapping their Potentials. As a result, 13 TOP Centres were opened in Kenya, which are offering training to their community members in areas of simple technologies that provide local solutions.
