Wired Community@Collingwood
Wired Community@Collingwood is Australia’s largest digital inclusion project to date. It is being undertaken as a four-way partnership between the non-profit, business, and government sectors and residents of the Collingwood housing estate.
Volunteers from some of Australia’s largest companies have through their Corporate Social Responsibility programs assisted with personal computer and internet training for residents before they received their Green PC. Wired Community@Collingwood showcases how the ICT industry can inspire greater community involvement and open new opportunities for individuals in their local area and wider society.
