Wireless everywhere
Estonia is now completely covered by WiFi with 1157 access points, which accounts for 45,000km2. The Internet is now available on public transport as well as in parks and other public spaces.
Veljo Haamer, editor of the wifi.ee website and a wifi evangelist , working with local net providers, promotes and helps to launch wi-fi hotspots throughout the country. He even convinced the major oil companies in Estonia, Neste and Statoil, to put in free hotspots.
