A country in a NWFZ gets negative security assurance from the 5 NWS

NWFZs now cover 116 countries including the entire territory of the southern hemisphere. "Negative security assurance" is a pledge from the five NPT nuclear-weapon states not to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against members of the zones.
