"New Chapter" envisages the use of nuclear force against terrorism

In the months that followed 9/11, UK and France went along with G.W. Bush and warned that they could use their nuclear force against terrorist "rogue" states. In July 2002, the UK Ministry of Defence published a "New Chapter" about terrorism, in complement to the UK 1998 Strategy Defence Review.
