Clash
The emotional and philosophical clash between expansionary mind sets and scientific learning is deeper than fairness arguments, or those on state vs. private ownership. And we fight wars about those. Inability to resolve old, divisive "wicked problems" kills mutual scientific learning in its crib.
Many clashes are expected migrating from expansion to Compression. We need more scientific methods for resolving wicked problems, else everyone "protecting their interests" can't take their attention from it long enough to deal with issues that affect everyone on earth.
