What if the "ground of becoming" (bhavanga) is not consciousness but an attractive-energy (which I call Love, and others call qi or prana) filled pool and which Western physics calls the Higgs Field? Updated for clarity May 31, 2017.

Later ... To unpack this a bit, what I am suggesting is that we live in is pool of energy and in that space energy flows, from lower to higher potential. This is Love or qi or prana, depending on the icon you use. In the West the icon for the pool is the Higgs Field.
Consciousness exists as vortexes in this energy.
