Government Take Over?

With exceptions like government labs, government agencies are legalistic, not noted innovators. Business organizations may also be inefficient, not innovative, if customers pay for it. Old classifications do not signify efficiency using minimal resources to carry out an important social mission.

Battles over the ownership and control were the staples of 20th century conflicts (and wars), and this is extending into the 21st century. But when the matter of importance is what is done, not just who gets what, the priority has to shift to creating and sustaining work organizations capable of fast-learning performance.
